Winter Garden's Water Spring Middle School serves roughly 1,000 students in grades six through eight, and Grassland was part of the team that built it. This was a ground up electrical project, with Grassland's crews installing service entry, distribution, and load layout as the campus was constructed rather than retrofitting systems into a finished building.
New construction carries a different kind of pressure than renovation work. There's no existing infrastructure to trace and no instructional schedule to work around, but every system still has to come together on a single fixed deadline: the building has to be fully wired, tested, and functional by the time students walk in for the first time. There's no earlier version of the electrical system to fall back on if something needs adjusting, only the sequence laid out from the start. It's the kind of project Grassland has built a track record on throughout Central Florida, delivered on schedule with a campus ready to open its doors.
