A school built around its garden and outdoor classrooms needed electrical work that stayed just as unobtrusive.

Sunrise Elementary School sits on Lone Palm Road in East Orlando, an Orange County Public Schools campus serving roughly 450 students in grades pre-kindergarten through five. Grassland carried out a full electrical renovation of the campus, replacing the building's electrical systems while the school stayed open and in session throughout.

A campus this size still carries the same requirements as any other OCPS renovation: shutdowns planned around instructional hours, life safety systems tested and signed off before crews move to the next section, and every phase sequenced to fit inside a fixed academic calendar. Grassland has delivered this kind of work across Central Florida school districts, and the first day of school has never waited on us.
