When renovations work around a community, it's not just about the building.

Hiawassee Elementary School sits on Hennepin Boulevard in Orlando, an Orange County Public Schools campus serving roughly 600 students in grades pre-kindergarten through five. Grassland handled a full electrical renovation here, and the harder part was never the wiring itself — it was doing that work without the school ever feeling it.

Classrooms stayed in session for the length of the project. That meant breaking the scope into pieces small enough to move through without shutting the building down: sections powered off and rewired in sequence, life safety systems checked and cleared before crews advanced, and every noisy or disruptive task boxed into windows outside the school day. It's a slower way to build, and the only way that respects a campus full of kids who still need to be there every morning. Grassland has run this playbook across Central Florida school districts, and Hiawassee opened every one of its school days on schedule.
